Join Friends for the East Cobb Park today!  
Your $25, $35, or $100 contribution will go toward supporting, maintaining, and allowing for future enhancements to the park. There are so many wonderful things planned for the park.  You have probably seen the additional pavillion recently constructed next to the upper parking lot, and the woods in front there are slated for an additional playground. Also, soon there will be an overlook deck built above the maintenance building. 

Become involved and support this terrific asset to our community by becoming a Park Member, and you will receive a subscription to our newsletter, pre-event email notifications, a park supporter car magnet and our membership card with discounts at local businesses.  

All membership contributions are tax deductible, as Friends for the East Cobb Park is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

The Ultimate Playdate and Movie Nights at East Cobb Park 2008  
Come out to these fun, FREE events and show your support for our wonderful community park!  We will have a variety of local businesses sponsoring each of these events, bringing you information on, coupons for and samples of products and services geared toward children and families.  Some sposors will even be providing fun things like food and inflatables!

The Ultimate Playdate
At the park stage every Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. beginning April 16th.  
Live musical performances each week by Jay Memory, founding member of the national act "Memory Dean." Jay will cover old favorites for mom and dad and lead the children in sing-alongs!

Tai Chi for Seniors
Starting April 11th, Tai Chi for Seniors will meet at the park every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month at 9:30am. Come and learn how fun it is to be a senior in the 21st century! All levels are welcome! Space is limited. Meet at the Main Pavilion. Rain or Shine! Meet at Fuller's Park Recreation Center on rain days. For more information, call: 770.565.8828. Picnic at the Park
Saturday, June 28th from 11am-2pm, we will have a 5th Anniversary Picnic for East Cobb Park!

The 16th Annual Auction and Wine Tasting held on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at Trilogy in East Cobb was a HUGE success. The proceeds from this joint fundraiser benefited Camp Big Heart, Friends for the East Cobb Park, local scholarships and many other community projects for the aged, homeless, handicapped and needy.

The East Cobb Civitan Club officially donated $12,375.00 to Friends for the East Cobb Park in December. Accumulated gifts to the Park from this event now exceed $72,000!

Be on the lookout later in the year so that you, your business, or organization can be a part of this fantastic event. We thank all of the participants and patrons for their  support!
