ARTSCAPE! Sessions are art history/art classes for children ages 5-10 years old, taught by Artscape Director Kent Nulty. Classes are held between 9-10am on most Thursdays at East Cobb Park's outdoor classroom. All classes are $15 for each child. Some of this summer session’s classes are inspired by the book “Lives of the Artists” by Kathleen Krull and Kathryn Hewitt.

TOWHEE TRAIL PROGRAM
Individuals, groups and families have an opportunity to adopt one remaining trail section and tend it, to include removal of non-native or invasive plants, re-establish native tree and plant populations (bought by volunteers or acquired through the Georgia Native Plant Society Rescue Program), remove trash and workday debris. FRIENDS FOR THE EAST COBB PARK is a non-profit volunteer organization formed in
1998 to create a community gathering place in East Cobb County. An executive Committee,
a Board of Trustees, and a Board of Advisors work with Committee members to support and
improve the park, its facilities, and programs.
